Foundation for Fun - Holiday Club

Foundations will be running Foundation for Fun - Holiday Club at Brinnington Young People’s Centre, Bridgehall Community Centre and Offerton Community Centre for children aged 11-17 over the Summer holidays. Foundation for Fun is an innovative programme with a range of activities which sets out to inspire young people by building their self-esteem, self-confidence and academic attainment.

Young people can arrive from 10am where they can grab some breakfast before activities start. Activities include cooking lessons, rap and beatbox workshops, graffiti art, and plant pot decorating. Lunch will be provided, as well as drinks and healthy snacks throughout the day. In the afternoon young people will be able to participate in a range of games and chill time, as well as having the opportunity to learn about topics such as CV writing, housing, food and nutrition.

We expect sessions to book up quickly so book early to avoid disappointment.

There are free places available for children and young people eligible for free school meals. Your child may be eligible to attend Foundation for Fun for free due to meeting a different eligibility criteria, to find out more about the eligibility criteria, please email in confidence.
